HONG KONG AGENCIES ATTAIN FINALISTS IN PRINT AND DESIGN
AT THE 25TH ANNUAL
DDB Hong Kong/Tribal DDB Hong Kong attained two Finalists for Print Consumer Campaign in the 2010 London International Awards. Their Consumer Campaigns for Freshlock and Penguin Books were the only Print Finalists from
Grey Hong Kong attained Finalist status in Design - Editorial Design for Re:spect Magazine.
“Print has always been a highly competitive medium. So my congratulations to DDB Hong Kong/Tribal DDB Hong Kong for attaining not one but two Finalists”, said Barbara Levy, President of London International Awards.
“This year LIA saw a marked increase in the number of Design entries. The Design Jury was suitably impressed with the standard of work. So to make the cut in a room full of ground-breaking work is quite impressive,” she added.
This year for the first time, LIA is honouring the Network of the Year, Agency of the Year and Production Company of the Year. These winners were decided based on the outstanding work chosen by the Juries across all media. The following is the Point System used to determine each honour:
Grand LIA = 5 points
Gold LIA = 4 points
Silver LIA = 3 points
Bronze LIA = 2 points
Finalist = 1 point
Network of the Year is Y&R
Agency of the Year is RCKR/Y&R, London
Production Company of the Year is MJZ
Out of the total number of 13,562 entries from 79 countries worldwide, only 1.33% attained Finalist.
